Mouth Watering Honey Garlic Bone-in Porkchops

Ingredients:

  • 4 Davidson Family Farms bone-in pork chops (boneless can be substituted)

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • 3 tbs butter

  • 3 tsp minced garlic

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 tbs minced fresh parsley (dried can be substituted)

Serves: 4

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Total Time: 35 minutes

Directions:

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Heat olive oil in large oven safe pan (preferably cast-iron skillet) over medium high heat.

  • Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides

  • Add pork chops to the pan in a single layer once oil sizzles when a drop of water is added. Brown chops on each side for about 5-6 minutes (less time if boneless).

  • After browned on both sides, remove pork from skillet and place on plate.

  • Add the butter to the skillet and melt. Then add garlic, brown sugar, Italian seasoning and cook until fragrant and well combined about 30 seconds, while stirring constantly.

  • Place the browned pork chops back in the skillet and spoon brown sugar sauce over the top of each chop.

  • Place the skillet in the oven and bae for 10-15 minutes or until pork is cooked to the desired level of doneness. We recommend at least 145°F, but too well done will result in more dry meat.

  • Spoon the sauce from the bottom of the pain over the chops and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately!
