Mouth Watering Honey Garlic Bone-in Porkchops
Ingredients:
4 Davidson Family Farms bone-in pork chops (boneless can be substituted)
2 teaspoons olive oil
Salt and pepper
3 tbs butter
3 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbs minced fresh parsley (dried can be substituted)
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°F. Heat olive oil in large oven safe pan (preferably cast-iron skillet) over medium high heat.
Season pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides
Add pork chops to the pan in a single layer once oil sizzles when a drop of water is added. Brown chops on each side for about 5-6 minutes (less time if boneless).
After browned on both sides, remove pork from skillet and place on plate.
Add the butter to the skillet and melt. Then add garlic, brown sugar, Italian seasoning and cook until fragrant and well combined about 30 seconds, while stirring constantly.
Place the browned pork chops back in the skillet and spoon brown sugar sauce over the top of each chop.
Place the skillet in the oven and bae for 10-15 minutes or until pork is cooked to the desired level of doneness. We recommend at least 145°F, but too well done will result in more dry meat.
Spoon the sauce from the bottom of the pain over the chops and sprinkle with parsley. Serve immediately!
